The series explores food as a coded social object.

Based on observations of school lunchboxes over two years, the paintings examine everyday meals as systems of order, identity, habit, and care. 

Lunchboxes, hotel-buffet displays, and fast-food arrangements become images of contemporary ritual, desire, and social behavior.
